I bought a brand new Dell XPS 8960 which is preloaded with windows. I tried to install ubuntu on it by following direction found here:https://ubuntu.com/tutorials/install-ubuntu-desktop#4-boot-from-usb-flash-drive
I created a bootable USB stick using balenaEtcher and this seemed to work. However, when I boot up (F12) from the USB stick, it just hangs with a blank screen and gives the message:
1.435792 nouveau 0000:01:000.0: unknown chipset (196000a1)
I can't seem to go any further. Anyone know what to do?
