Failed dual boot issue - Ubuntu 22.04 and Windows 10

I have an old Asus RoG Strix GL553VD computer at home, and wanted to install a dual boot with Windows 10 and Ubuntu 22.04.

Initially I used Rufus, and the installation process was successful. It completed and asked me to remove the flash drive, however whenever I try to boot, the screen always shows this error message.

Could not create MokListRT: Volume fullCould not create MokListXRT: Volume fullCould not create SbatlevelRT: Volume fullCould not create MokListTrustedRT: Volume fullSomething has gone seriously wrong: import_mok_state() failed : volume full

What's strange is that now even the live USB doesn’t work.

Here are the steps I’ve taken after browsing for solutions:

  • Disabled Secure Boot

  • Disabled Fast Boot

  • Recreated the bootable USB using balenaEtcher, but it still won't boot into live mode, even though I’ve set the boot priority in BIOS.

  • I manually selected the USB boot option in Windows by pressing restart + Shift, then choosing the USB option, but it still didn't work.

  • I recreated the bootable USB using Rufus again with the GPT option, but it still doesn't work and keeps returning to the same error message screen.
