I've tried it all and it just doesn't work.First I installed Lubuntu on my old MacBook Air 11" mid 2011. It looked like a success, but it often froze for no apparent reason. I tried some fixes I read online, but nothing worked. The I thought about installing Ubuntu, but the laptop keeps freezing before the installation is complete.Out of desperation I tried to reinstall the original Lion X OS, but none of the three options work (Original, Latest available version for that laptop and latest installed).Is there any magic in installing a new OS on such an old machine? I see tons of youtube videos where the installation of any of the above mentioned OS runs smoothly... but not mine.
Any ideas? It shouldn't be that difficult.Has anyone had a positive experience with this installation? How is your machine running?
