I bought a powerful laptop to edit videos from my GoPro, but I made a mistake because I'm a Ubuntu fan and I can't get it to work. That's why I want to make sure now that I buy a compatible one (preferably with the latest Ubuntu 24.04). I see that Lenovo, Dell and HP are usually compatible, but I would like some advice on buying a laptop of at most €2000 that I can use for work and with a good processor, graphics card, etc. so that I can edit family videos (not professional) without problems (with the current one, which is very old, I can't watch 4k or 1080hd videos). Ideally it should also have a 2TB SSD hard drive, but I need at least 1TB.
This is the one I bought that I'm going to return because I can't use it with Ubuntu (no sound) and I want to continue with that OS:
