I was able to Install 22.04.3 LTS Desktop on this server recently, but something seems to have changed where the install will no longer succeed. I have spent an entire week fiddling with options, settings, and updates, but nothing has solved the problem.
I have two 500GB SSD's in Raid-1, tried BIOS and UEFI (previous successful installs were with BIOS). I am erasing the partitions and installing fresh, but nothing works. The problem started before changing anything but since then I have done a complete system reset, and updated all firmware and BIOS versions.
I usually just get a black screen on reboot, then if I power off and on again, the advanced options will allow a boot, but I really don't know what I should try, or why it won't just boot normally like it used to.
Any advice will be very much appreciated.
