The 15-year-old PC I use can run Ubuntu, but it only has 2GB of RAM.
I had some problems when I attempted to live boot Ubuntu from a USB. Watch this video first, please carefully, after which I will go over everything once more.
Initially, there was an issue where clicking "Try or Install Ubuntu" would cause the screen to go dark. But after a while, the problem disappeared and Ubuntu started to load. The error disappeared and Ubuntu continued to load when I was offered to "Try Ubuntu" when the problem reappeared. But as you can see ubuntu is working good.
Second, even though I'm using a WiFi adapter that is compatible with Linux, I can't locate any helpful settings for connecting to WiFi.
Third, even though I chose to sample Ubuntu rather than install it, I still need to hit the power button, esc, and enter to shut down the machine. I'm told to hit Enter, however doing so will cause Ubuntu to be installed on my computer.
Could you please assist with all of these problems?
